In-House Social Media Content Creator

Position Overview: We are seeking a charismatic, fun, & driven individual to join our team as a Content Creator. This role position is crucial in supporting our business growth and enhancing our online presence through engaging content creation. The applicant must be comfortable behind & infront of the camera & be able to confidently execute creative ideas, & visions.

• You are a content machine: You'll be out and about in our Coolum Beach HQ capturing authentic, short-form content (photos and videos) that showcases the vibrant energy of our salon.

Responsibilities:

1. Content Creation:

   • Develop compelling content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, etc.) to promote SH Hair Extensions.
   • Create visually appealing posts, stories, and videos that showcase our products and inspire our audience.
   • Write clear, concise, and engaging captions that align with our brand voice and messaging.
   • Collaborate with influencers and brand ambassadors to amplify our reach and engagement.

2. Digital Marketing:

   • Assist in developing and implementing digital marketing campaigns to drive brand awareness and sales.
   • Monitor and analyze social media metrics and performance to optimize content strategies.
   • Stay updated with industry trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth.

What you need to have:

• • Proven experience in content creation, preferably within the beauty or fashion industry.
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to create engaging and compelling content.
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and familiarity with social media analytics tools.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize workload effectively.
  • Tech-savvy and adaptable to new digital marketing trends and tools.
  • Discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
  • The charisma to build relationships with the people you work with (in-house & contractors).

Bonus points:

• • Graphic design and video editing skills (Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, etc.).
  • Experience in influencer marketing and collaboration.
  • Knowledge of SEO and content optimization strategies.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred but not required).

This role is negotiable - with 3 x days of filming & 2 days of editing preferred. The job role can change over time, as we navigate this new area of the company. 3 x month contract will be offered initially with a performance review & salary to be discussed after 3 x months.
